A pretty much self-explanatory list of the things I am pro and the things I am con.
In no particular order.

- I am pro Ira Glass, but I am con Milan Kundera.
- I am pro Biergartens, but I am con beer.
- (I just don't like it.)
- I am pro rock climbing, but I am con falling.
- I am pro the astronaut who called Car Talk from the space shuttle, but I am con people who say "Is it cold enough for 'ya?"
- I am pro baseball statistics, but I am con the wave.
- I am pro Brookline Booksmith, but I am con Barnes & Noble.
- I am pro OmU, but I am con Elmo.
- (The first indicates that a movie in Germany is the original language version with subtitles. The second is just annoying.)
- I am pro wicked 'uge snow stahms, but I am con so-called 'dry heat'.
- I am pro Jimmy Carter, but I am con Jim Carrey.
- I am pro alliteration, but I am con very small pieces of chalk.
- I am pro mailmen, but I am con on-line service providers.
- I am pro "Respect my authori-tah!", but I am con Judge Judy justice.
- (Despite the alliteration.)
- I am pro Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back, but I am con Return of the Jedi.
- (Admit it, the little teddy bear people were ricockulous!)
- I am pro atmosphere, but I am con attitude.
- I am pro Fenway franks, but I am con the Yankees winning the World Series ever ever again.
- I am pro bonus points, but I am con that penny they give you in change from the 99 cent parking at the Cambridgeside Galleria.
- I am pro the Old Hancock Tower, but I am con the New Beetle.
- I am pro the Deutschmark, but I am con the Euro.
- I am pro the dative case, but I am con the fifth and sixth principle parts of Greek verbs.
- (OK, we were wrong to lose the dative case, but the sixth principle part of a verb... now you're just showing off.)
- I am pro Kevin Meaney & the less obscure Kevin Spacey, but I am con Kevin Costner.
- (He likes himself enough for all of us.)
- I am pro Masterpiece Theater, but I am con Mobil Masterpiece Theater.
- I am pro Jane Austen novels, but I am con personal web pages.
- (Hmmmm....)
- I am pro board games, but I am con X Games.
- I am pro order, but I am con "What-ever!".
- I am pro the Gap, but I am con Old Navy.
- (Is it possible to be a Gap snob?)
- I am pro reality shows on TLC, but I am con pretty much anything on Fox.
- (Especially the news!)
- I am pro Danskos, but I am con puffy sleeves coming back.
- I am pro Joe, but I am con Steve.
- (You know, the guy from Blue's Clues!)

- (Presidents, that is.)
